If what you are looking for is amazingly flavorful food, the sexiest ambiance in San Diego and an overall great dining experience - look no further! The Red Pearl Kitchen is the FlawLes hidden secret. Hint - this is the spot for any first date! Trust us...
"Tim and Liza Goodell have long sought the perfect location for their second Red Pearl Kitchen, and they found it in the heart of the Historic Gas Lamp District of San Diego. Their original Red Pearl Kitchen has been a mainstay of the Huntington Beach dining scene for the past five years and like the Orange County location, the new San Diego restaurant combines authentic Chinese/East Asian recipes with a hip, contemporary bar scene. |

It's like being in Miami. And you can catch some of San Diego's most elite, including Andi herself, just about any night of the week. We recommend everything on the menu, but make sure to save room for dessert - the dim-sum donuts are a must! |

The restaurant boasts a fixed priced menu at $99 per person, and encourages you to take a risk and you’ll get your money’s worth. And believe it or not, we tend to agree. Just think of it as dinner and a show all wrapped into one. Except this time, you may be one of the main characters! Go ahead and try something different. Try Opaque. Do it in the dark. We dare you! |

CAFE ONE THREE offers authentic global cuisine with an eclectic twist. We are open for dinner, happy (go lucky) hour and weekend bruch. CAFE ONE THREE is the recent partnership of Jason Dean and Carlos Legaspy.
Dean was most recently manager of The Prado at Balboa Park. He credits his passion for food and wine with his Southern upbringing and his love of world travel. He has come a long way from his mother's kitchen in Jackson, Tennessee. But his style and manner keep him a Southern boy at heart.

The minds that brought you Hillcrest’s Cafe W and the chef who brought small plates dining to San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter Via Confidential Restaurant and Loft are excited to announce their newest project “Bite”. Bite is located at 1417 University avenue in Hillcrest just east of Richmond avenue and promises to bring a new level of dining excitement to the area. Chef Chris Walsh has a long history in Hillcrest and San Diego and hopes his newest creation will tantalize the taste buds in a whole new way. Long known for his unique Asian and Latin American influenced tapas Walsh is going back to his roots by creating a menu influenced largely by Northern Italian and French Bistro fare designed to be paired with a large selection of Italian, French and California Wines. The bar will also feature up to eight house infused sakes for those who prefer a “cocktail” over wine. Chef Walsh was one of the first in San Diego to offer dinners Sake Cocktails as an alternate to Wine and Beer. One of the most exciting beverage enticements will be the daily champagne happy hour offering several selections of bubbles by the glass at very affordable prices. Bite will feature sidewalk patio dining, a contemporary lounge and a community/singles table that can accommodate up to 12 guests in addition to a dining room that incorporates both tables close to the action as well as romantic hideaways. The design, which chef Walsh (who is also doing all the design) describes as Mid Century Modern Industrial. Think graphic design, clean lines and a color palate of Vanilla, Saffron, Dijon Mustard, Extra Virgin Olive oil and Bittersweet Chocolate! |

Cantina Mayahuel brings fresh San Diego style to the standard Mexican dining. Neither a fine dining establishment nor a basic corner taco-shop, the food and setting at the Cantina welcomes people of all dining desires. The menu is short and simple, but the quality is satisfying and unique. Meals are served on clay plates and the drinks arrive on authentic decorated tin trays from Mexico. The drink selection continues the homage to Mexico with traditional Mexican beer and wine and specialty Mexican coca-cola. The Cantina is known for serving a different special every day of the week, such as the popular homemade mole con pollo on Fridays. Cantina Mayahuel brings fine Mexican flavor for all to appreciate. |

Authentic French Bistro in Kensington, where new San Diego meets the old Left Bank of Paris. Bleu Boheme has all the makings of a culinary success story, with its dream team of passionate design, intelligent business and substantial curb appeal. At first sight, it's obvious that the owners, Phillipe Beltran and Jacqueline Delaney, have gone out of their way to redefine attention to detail. Not only is the exterior and interior concept in a class of its own, but the food reflects the arduous globe-trotting and note-taking from foodie Phillipe Beltran. Phillipe's gift for piquing the senses is what really takes Bleu Boheme to the top of the food chain. And with beloved friend and tenacious business partner Jacqueline by his side, the two have managed to produce something truly unique and wildly successful. |
